Rebecca Damia

​​Rebecca has over 23 years' experience practicing & teaching Yoga and Āyurveda that led her to become a life long student.  She has completed over 3,000 hours of Yoga trainings and intensive workshops learning about Āyurveda, Meditation, Yoga, and Sanskrit. Most recently she has embarked on studying Yoga & Sanskrit at The Centre for Hindu Studies at Oxford University and has recently been accepted into an IYAT approved Yoga for Health Care program. Rebecca teaches a variety of methods/styles of Yoga tailoring the practice to meet the needs of each individual and has a special love for teaching beginners.

 

Rebecca's experience with both illness and wellness contributes to her beliefs that everyone may benefit, experience, and practice Yoga while implementing aspects of Āyurveda into their daily routine in order to maintain a Balanced Life.

Melissa K. Lavery

Melissa Lavery has over 20 years’ experience writing anything from hard news to lifestyle literature. She provides ghost writing and editorial services to a variety of clients, with work published on MindistheMaster.com, Breakthrough Psychology Program.com, and CareerIgniter.com. As lead editor, her co-created textbook, “Principles of Practical Psychology,” is available on Amazon. Her educational and professional experience includes journalism, education, and psychology.

Melissa writes articles and essays for the website Mind Is The Master.  MISM is meant to be that place that provides for you the next level resource pool to help you expand, but with a singular focus. We want to bring the best thinking and practices into one place that speak to intentional personal growth and prosperity. Whether you’re in your late teens or well into adulthood there is always room for growth.

Tracey Hindorff

Tracey was first introduced to the Science of Yoga in 2011 and has studied under Rebecca for close to 10 years.  While currently a stay-at-home, married mother of 4 adult children, Tracey is a graduate of both the Keystone School of Business, earning an A.S. Degree in Executive Secretarial Studies, as well as Delaware County Community College where she completed her A. A. Degree in Liberal Studies.  Once employed as Secretary to the Department Head for the County of Delaware's Office of Consumer Affairs, she more recently served as a member of the Administrative Support Staff for Delaware County Community College in the Office of the Registrar as a first point of contact for students of varying ages and backgrounds.  Tracey is also a former Group Facilitator for "Power Over Panic," a support group for sufferers of Panic and Anxiety Disorders.

Tracey is an enthusiastic lifetime learner whose area of interest is most focused on svadhyaya (spiritual self-study) through the life changing principles of Yoga presented via exposure and exploration of both sacred and modern day texts that encourage and support the evolution of the soul.  An original member of last seasons Yoga Book Club, Tracey is excited about taking on a more definitive role in the upcoming season of Yoga Book Club.
